How To Book Your Stay
For those traveling from out of town, we understand the added stress of planning a surgical procedure in an unfamiliar city. That’s why we take care of every aspect of your visit to Tampa, including the planning of your surgery with the goal of providing support and convenience to our patients. If you are an out-of-town patient, we have a straightforward four-step process for planning your procedure:
Virtual Consultation
To accommodate our out-of-town patients, we have made it easy to communicate your cosmetic concerns to us. Patients can simply email our practice along with up-to-date digital photos of the areas they wish to address. Dr. Sohn will then review the photos and discuss the cosmetic surgery options available to the patient over the phone or via email.
Payment
After Dr. Sohn has discussed the patient’s surgical options and a date has been set and confirmed, the patient should send their personal information via email to our practice. Payment is due two weeks prior to the procedure and can be made by check or credit card. To make procedures more affordable, Dr. Sohn is proud to offer several financing options. Pre-Operative Visit
Upon arriving in Tampa, patients will have a scheduled pre-operative visit with Dr. Sohn. During this visit, Dr. Sohn will review the entire surgical procedure with the patient and conduct a comprehensive examination. This is also an opportunity for patients to ask any questions or express any concerns they may have about their treatment.
Recovery
To ensure optimal healing during the initial stages of the recovery process, Dr. Sohn highly recommends that patients stay in the Tampa area for a specific period of time following their procedure (the length of time varies depending on the procedure). For some surgeries, Dr. Sohn suggests patients stay at an aftercare surgical facility, which offers a tranquil environment and care for individuals as they recover. We are happy to work with your schedule when scheduling post-operative follow-up appointments.
Your Successful Recovery Away From Home
To promote a successful recovery after your operation, Dr. Sohn can recommend a variety of relaxing places to stay in Tampa. Our friendly and knowledgeable team can assist in booking rooms and other accommodations for you at several hotels, as well as a local recovery retreat center if desired.
Personal Post-Op Nursing Care
If you are in need of assistance in the immediate post-operative period and unable to travel with a companion to assist with transitions to and from the office and surgery center, we are pleased to offer the services of a personal nurse. We contract with some of the best nurses in the Tampa area and will be happy to book a private nurse for you if needed.
Hotel Reservations
Our office recommends several excellent hotels that offer convenient access to our office and the nearby attractions of Tampa. Many of these hotels also provide special rates and discounts for our patients. If you wish, our staff will be happy to book rooms and other accommodations for you.
